PRSA Buffalo Niagara Hosts 28th Annual Excalibur Awards

Signature event for Western New York’s largest public relations association

BUFFALO, N.Y. – They’re the behind-the-scenes people who wear many hats, and tonight is their night to be recognized. The PRSA Excalibur Awards will be honoring 61 gold, silver and bronze entries that stood out among the rest in a variety of public relations work.

The chapter’s most coveted awards of the night – the highest scoring entries in the campaign and tactic divisions – will also receive platinum honors. These winners will be revealed at the event. Kate Glaser from Mercy Flight of Western New York will be emceeing the event.

Special awards that will be given to individuals in the PR field highlighting their talent and commitment to the chapter and the profession include:

  • May C. Randazzo Outstanding Practitioner Award to Emily Perryman, APR, director of marketing and public relations at Trocaire College
  • Outstanding Executive Award to William Gisel, chairman and CEO at Rich Products
  • Distinguished Service Award to Jacqueline Molik Goshen, APR, assistant dean and director of communications for the University at Buffalo School of Management
  • Ann R. Carden Rising Star Award to Matthew Biddle, assistant director of communications for the University at Buffalo School of Management

WHY: To recognize the outstanding projects, programs and people that define, strengthen and promote the practice of public relations in the Buffalo Niagara region.
