In this presentation, VBN’s communications manager, Brian Hayden, will identify pitches and storylines that resonate with out-of-town writers and influencers, describe the tools VBN uses to tell its Buffalo story — and give you tactics and tools to better tell the story of your organization or clients.

Notes: Registration and networking begins at 5:30 p.m. The presentation will run from 6 to 7 p.m. Free, off-street parking is available behind the building on Halbert Street.

In his role, Brian Hayden promotes Buffalo’s resurgence by pitching and hosting dozens of travel writers and influencers who generate media coverage about the region across North America and overseas. Brian received Destination International’s “30 Under 30” award in 2015. He graduated from Syracuse University in 2010 with a degree in journalism and previously served as Clarkson University’s social media manager and as a newspaper reporter in Northern New York.
