Tell Students: Internship Opportunity at Rich Products

Rich Products is seeking a communications intern for the spring 2017 semester.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

Projects include (but not limited to):

• Write company news and feature articles for posting on internal intranet, website and other communication channels, as assigned.
• Assist with special events, recognition programs, and other functions.
• Support content development for various social media outlets.
• Assist with basic research and support for Corporate Communications and corporate projects
• Assist with research and fact checking for company communications.
• Assist in archiving photo into Rich’s archive system
• Perform various administrative support as assigned

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or graduate degree program at an accredited university; Communication, Public Relations or Journalism preferred.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

• Demonstrate the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities listed above
• Demonstrate leadership skills
• Work effectively in a team environment
• Express ideas and information in a clear and concise manner
• Recognize and respond effectively to unexpected situations and tight deadlines
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing task priorities and work situations
• Demonstrate ability to complete tasks regardless of obstacles
• Proven leadership experience and excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient with social media; Microsoft office products.
