Tell Students: May C. Randazzo Scholarship Being Offered by PRSA Buffalo Niagara

The Buffalo Niagara Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) is accepting applications for 2015 May C. Randazzo Scholarships. The application deadline for the $1,500 Randazzo Scholarships is Wednesday, April 15, 2015. Two scholarships will be awarded.

Scholarships are available to both undergraduate and graduate students attending colleges/universities in the geographic area served by the Buffalo Niagara Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.

Undergraduate students should have a declared major in the field of communication. Graduate students should be pursuing a master’s degree in a related field.

The scholarship is named in honor of May C. Randazzo, a past Buffalo Niagara Chapter PRSA president who was public relations manager at Graphic Controls. She died after a brief illness in 1997 at the age of 57. Randazzo made many lasting contributions to the profession, both locally and nationally.

The Randazzo Scholarship awards will be presented at the chapter’s annual PRSA Excalibur Awards event this June.
